From the Pastor’s Desk

     Dear New Member(s),

                                             Welcome to our community! We are your neighbors. We are your Christian friends who just want to know you better and thank you for joining our church.

      Our church was originally founded by Jesus Christ (Matthew 16:18). Later, He commanded His followers to baptize converts into churches (Matthew 28:18-20).

     Church membership is for believers who apply the death of Christ on the cross as payment for the penalty of their sins (Romans 16:23). The only way a person may be saved is to commit his/her life to God with a similarity of the following prayer.

     “Dear God: I am sorry for my sins and believe Jesus died for me. I accept Him as my Savior and commit my life to Him as my Lord.”

     Having done this, a person makes a public profession of faith in Christ as he/she unites with a local church and is baptized according to Christ’s commands.

     I want to thank you again for becoming a member of WBS Christian Center. Our church is an interdenominational, full gospel, spirit-filled evangelical family church. The church is a Bible teaching, preaching, practicing sanctuary. We accept God’s gift of salvation to us through Christ, and then we voluntarily bind ourselves together in a church to support his work.

     The purpose of our church is to Win souls to Christ, Build them up in Christ, and then Send them to the world. In addition, our goal is to praise God through our worship services, to study His word, to learn His will for us, to support His work with our presence, prayers, talents, tithes, and to strengthen ourselves through fellowship with other Christians. We believe in serving others in His name and making our community a better place to live by telling others how they may have peace with God. I want you to know that WBS Christian Center is the church Where the Power of God is Flowing and Equipping the Saints for His Coming. 

     I just want to let you know that I think of you and pray for you often. I want to be available to you anytime you might need me. Don’t hesitate to call me here at the church or at my residence if I can be of service to you.

     If you have prayer requests, call me so I can pray with you. At the same time, I am depending on you to pray for me. Pray for me as I lead this church according to God’s will. Pray for our members that they will faithfully attend, serve, and give as the Lord would lead them. Pray that the Holy Spirit will be present in our services in a mighty way.  With you praying with us for one another, we can’t help but to have tremendous services, with lost souls being saved and Christians being brought closer to the Lord. You will be a prayer warrior. I love you! Be sure to call me if I can serve you in any way.
